Junior Cyber Analyst

About the role

As a Junior Cyber Analyst at Secured Enterprise, you will join a dedicated team protecting client environments from evolving cyber threats. You will gain hands‑on experience monitoring networks, investigating alerts, and supporting incident response while continuously expanding your security knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor networks, systems and endpoints to detect potential security incidents.
• Use endpoint protection solutions to secure laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Investigate security alerts, analyse logs and indicators of compromise, and escalate incidents as needed.
• Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques to improve defensive measures.
• Support implementation and management of firewalls, anti‑virus, IDS/IPS and data‑loss‑prevention tools.
• Assist with incident response activities, including containment, remediation and recovery.
• Document incidents, findings and recommendations for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to security projects, audits and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Network Security or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Eagerness to continuously learn and obtain security certifications.
