Jewish Experiential Team Educator (JET)

About the role

The United Herzlia Schools are seeking a passionate educator to join their Jewish Experiential Team (JET). This full‑time permanent role focuses on designing and delivering Jewish life and learning experiences that deepen students' connection to Judaism, Israel, and the Hebrew language.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and support grade‑specific Jewish Life and Learning (JLL) camps, special days and informal lessons.
• Co‑develop and deliver inspiring programmes for high‑school JLL, Tefillah, and festival celebrations in collaboration with senior staff.
• Facilitate break‑time engagement activities such as “Parsha schmooze” and support school‑wide JLL events and external projects.
• Provide administrative support for JLL, Hebrew and Israel education teams, including campaign development and event logistics.
• Assist with school camps and trips, ensuring appropriate Jewish content and programming.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree or relevant experience in Jewish education.
• Orthodox role model who is a genuine mensch and passionate about Judaism.
• Deep knowledge of Jewish traditions, Israel, and Hebrew.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentorship abilities.
• Professional, reliable, self‑driven team player with excellent organisational skills.
