IT Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join a dynamic team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The role involves providing first‑line technical assistance to end users and maintaining core IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to basic end‑user issues such as keyboard, printer, internet, and Outlook problems.
• Install, configure and maintain LAN and Wi‑Fi networks.
• Set up and manage camera surveillance network.
• Deploy, configure and maintain Microsoft 365 licenses and user accounts.
• Prepare and maintain laptops, desktops, smartphones and printers, including static IP assignment.
• Provide Remote Desktop and VPN access to servers for users.
• Configure printers, scanners and related software (FTP client, PDF viewer, etc.).
• Manage IT inventory, process approval requests and order approved parts.

Required profile

• Matriculation with CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
