ISO Documents Controller & SHE Officer

About the role

An established steel manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced ISO Documents Controller & SHE Officer. The role is pivotal for maintaining ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, overseeing document control, and ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems in line with ISO 9001:2015.
• Manage internal and external audit schedules, follow‑up corrective actions and verify closure of non‑conformities.
• Coordinate quarterly Management Review meetings and monitor QMS KPI targets.
• Capture IODs in the RMA system, maintain SHE records, and conduct HIRA inspections.
• Prepare, scan, archive and manage Data Books, MPIs, Weld Maps, Paint Maps and material certificates.
• Track calibration certificates, manage First Aid stock and conduct inductions for employees, contractors and visitors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ISO 9001:2015 QMS, internal auditing and document control within a manufacturing environment.
• Relevant ISO 9001:2015 qualifications – Internal Auditing Course and Lead Auditor Course.
• Experience in SHE administration, HIRA inspections and emergency response documentation.
