Golang Developer

About the role

S‑RM is looking for a Golang Developer to join the Corporate Intelligence team. You will work on complex intelligence software, building both backend services and front‑end features, and collaborate closely with product, DevOps and other engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Golang.
• Implement front‑end components with React.
• Create and evolve RESTful APIs to integrate multiple external data providers.
• Utilise OpenSearch for search, indexing and analytics workloads.
• Deploy and operate services on AWS, following best‑practice security and reliability guidelines.
• Handle large data sets with a focus on performance, scalability and reliability.
• Work with the Product Manager to break down requirements and deliver incremental value.
• Partner with the DevOps team on deployment pipelines, observability and automation.
• Own features from design through production and continuous improvement.
• Ensure high code quality through unit, integration and other automated tests.
• Participate in technical discussions and help raise engineering standards across the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer building production‑grade applications.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
