German-Speaking Market Specialist Inbound Tourism

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Market Specialist to handle inbound tourism enquiries for our boutique adventure tour operator. The role is fully remote and focuses on selling bespoke safaris to German‑speaking clients from Southern and East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and convert inbound safari enquiries from German‑speaking customers into confirmed bookings.
• Design and finalise high‑level bespoke safari itineraries, coordinating all travel components to deliver a seamless experience.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth through effective upselling and client relationship management.

Required profile

• Native German speaker with strong English communication skills.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of retail or travel sales experience, preferably in safari or adventure tourism.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to work independently under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with WordPress for content management (advantageous).
