Full‑Time GP Doctor – Middelburg & Graaff‑Reinet (Eastern Cape)

About the role

This position is for a qualified General Practitioner or Medical Doctor to join a busy private practice in the Eastern Cape. The primary base is in Middelburg, with occasional duties in Graaff‑Reinet as required. The role offers a fast‑paced environment with a strong patient base across both towns.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage appointments, consultations and follow‑up care during standard Monday‑Friday hours (08:00‑17:00).
• Collaborate with a reception team and qualified nurse to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Handle personal billing and maintain accurate medical records.

Required profile

• Qualified GP or Medical Doctor (Community Service doctors are also eligible).
• Immediate availability to start.
• Willingness to reside and work primarily in Middelburg.
• Strong interpersonal and patient‑care skills.

• Ability to manage own billing processes.
