Finance Graduate Programme – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

BRB’s Premier Finance Graduate Programme in Port Elizabeth offers recent Accounting or Commerce graduates a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to gain hands‑on experience in finance within a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate finance records, including invoicing and reconciliations.
• Track progress using a workplace logbook.
• Perform Excel‑based analysis, prepare basic reports and support cost‑control efforts.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales and other teams to build strong working relationships.
• Adapt to new finance processes and tight deadlines, demonstrating flexibility.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor in Accounting or BCom (Management Accounting).
• Matric certificate plus degree; some work experience is a bonus.
• Comfortable using MS Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and resilience under pressure.
