Finance Business Partner - Margin Management

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑focused Finance Business Partner to own margin performance across our revenue‑generating portfolio. This role is not a traditional partnering function; you will embed margin considerations into deals from inception, monitor them through delivery, and enforce disciplined commercial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design margin into new deals and ensure it is actively managed throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify early‑stage risks, intervene when margin, utilisation or delivery assumptions fall outside agreed tolerances, and drive corrective actions.
• Provide transparent performance visibility to support decision‑making and reduce reliance on senior‑leadership escalations.
• Lead performance discussions focused on variance analysis, action planning, and owner accountability.
• Collaborate with finance, commercial and operational teams to embed commercial discipline in a fast‑growing, international B2B environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Finance with strong exposure to margin performance and deal economics.
• Ability to apply commercial judgement to challenge pricing, scope and delivery assumptions.
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders, holding others accountable and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Experience improving business processes around pricing, governance or delivery models.
• Strong forecasting and planning capability with a focus on accuracy and predictability.
