Finance Advisor

About the role

The Finance Advisor will support the Finance team with day‑to‑day processing of purchase orders, supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely supplier payments while maintaining proper financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and maintain purchase order information.
• Verify purchase order details against supporting documentation.
• Process supplier invoices and match them to approved purchase orders.
• Follow up on invoice approvals with business stakeholders.
• Assist with electronic invoice processing workflows and update trackers.
• Prepare supplier payment information for weekly payment runs.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist with accounts payable ageing reviews and maintain finance trackers.
• Support employee expense claims processing and cash‑flow reporting.
• Provide ad‑hoc finance administration support as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) with a Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification.
• 1‑2 years experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Administration or a similar role.
• Experience handling invoices, payments and reconciliations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP or a comparable finance system is beneficial.
