Cape Union Mart International is offering a festive‑season contract role in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga. The position is entry‑level and focuses on delivering excellent customer service while supporting store sales and operational standards during the busy holiday period.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers professionally, identify their needs and apply appropriate selling techniques to drive sales.
• Work toward individual sales targets and recognise opportunities to increase store revenue.
• Build positive relationships with shoppers, ensuring a welcoming and helpful environment.
• Follow store procedures for stock loss control, handling merchandise responsibly and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support visual merchandising to keep the store organised and attractive.
• Identify sales opportunities during customer interactions and contribute to overall store performance.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates; 6 months retail experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Matric or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Clear criminal record and proficiency in English.
• Strong customer‑service focus, friendly and confident demeanor.
• Ability to work toward individual targets and follow store procedures.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and contribute positively to the team.
