About the role
Deliver safe, basic nursing care across all wards in accordance with the Scope of Practice. The role supports the multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
- Assist in creating a therapeutic environment for a positive patient experience.
- Maintain accurate records of all nursing interventions.
- Ensure stock and equipment are correctly charted.
Required profile
- Higher Certificate in Nursing (or equivalent) – essential education.
- No prior experience required; 1 year post‑qualification experience is desirable.
Required skills
- Infection prevention and control.
- Basic Life Support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of nursing legislation and Scope of Practice regulations.
- Risk identification and patient observation skills.
