End Controller – Internal Applications (Ebony Park)

About the role

The End Controller is responsible for ensuring that all stock and fixed assets leaving the store are properly documented and that customer returns are accurately recorded. This position works within the internal applications team at the Ebony Park store and supports safe and efficient store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and record all documentation for stock and fixed assets exiting the store.
• Capture correct date, time, sequence and signatures on all end‑control documents.
• Record customer returns in the End Controller book and obtain required authorisations.
• Maintain backup coverage during shift changes, lunch and tea breaks.
• Sign end‑control keys in and out daily and ensure all doors and loading shutters are closed when not in use.
• Report any suspicious behaviour or vehicles to management.
• Conduct random employee searches when leaving the store.
• Provide fast, friendly service to customers and direct them to the appropriate personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• At least 1 year of related work experience (or 2 years without Grade 12).
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Literate with strong numeric abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
