Embedded Linux Engineer (Cloud, DevOps, Platform)

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Linux Engineer to join our R&D team in Windhoek, Namibia. You will help develop and maintain a Linux‑based industrial IoT platform that combines device hardware, software, cloud updates and fleet management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the OS for various SoC platforms such as NXP and TI.
• Collaborate closely with other R&D teams to ensure a full‑stack solution.
• Develop and enhance automated build pipelines and test suites for the operating system.
• Continuously improve DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience with OpenEmbedded/Yocto and best‑practice workflows.
• Solid background in Embedded Linux and embedded systems.
• Advanced Linux knowledge and intermediate Docker skills.
• Proactive communication and teamwork.
• Nice to have contributions to open‑source projects or Debian.
