Electrician – Phoenix Industrial Park

About the role

We are seeking an Electrician for the Phoenix industrial park area in Durban. Candidates should have 2‑3 years of relevant experience and demonstrate reliability, initiative and strong communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Install new electrical wiring, panels, lighting and electrical machinery safely.
• Inspect and test electrical systems to locate faults and broken parts.
• Replace damaged wires, switches, circuit breakers and fixtures.
• Perform routine safety checks on power systems and equipment.
• Ensure work follows local building codes and the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines.
• Maintain clear logs of all repairs, inspections and parts used.

Required profile

• Valid electrical trade test.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Good attitude, reliable, trustworthy and able to handle pressure.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring installation.
• Panel and lighting installation.
• Electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Repair of wiring, switches, circuit breakers and fixtures.
• Knowledge of NEC and local building code compliance.
