Dutch Speaking Customer Service Consultant

About the role

Join HGS in Cape Town as a Dutch Speaking Customer Service Consultant supporting a Canadian shipping client. You will handle inbound inquiries from Dutch‑speaking customers, providing accurate information on parcel delivery, tracking, and service issues while delivering a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to Dutch‑language customer contacts via phone, email or chat.
• Investigate delivery‑related queries, track parcels and provide status updates.
• Resolve complaints and service concerns in line with quality standards.
• Maintain detailed case notes and ensure first‑contact resolution where possible.
• Achieve individual and team performance targets.

Required profile

• Matric qualification or equivalent contact‑centre experience.
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving ability.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends.

Required skills

• Base salary of R40,000 per month plus R1,000 night‑shift allowance.
• Monthly variable bonus (up to 5%).
