Data Scientist – Pipeline Analytics

About the role

The Data Scientist (Pipeline) will join a multidisciplinary team to turn data into actionable insight for Capita and its clients. You will help shape strategic and tactical initiatives that improve customer experience and operational performance across contact‑centre environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver innovative, industry‑leading insight and improvement recommendations for Capita and client organisations.
• Conduct insight reviews using advanced analytics and both internal and external data sources.
• Develop and apply sophisticated predictive‑modelling techniques to identify change levers.
• Consider operational and client change requests when assessing benefit realisation.
• Lead the insight direction to align with operational strategy and commercial objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on customer‑satisfaction and loyalty methodologies such as Net Promoter®.
• Collaborate with MI teams to integrate disparate data sets and automate data‑processing workflows.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, articulate options and recommendations to stakeholders, and stay abreast of emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business narratives.
• Experience delivering consultancy‑style insights to senior stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness to ensure recommendations support business objectives.
• Ability to work collaboratively across shared‑services and client teams.
