Communications Manager – Smart Building & Power

About the role

ABB is seeking a Communications Manager to lead marketing communications for its Electrification Smart Building (ELSB) and Smart Power (ELSP) divisions in Southern Africa. You will shape the brand narrative, support sales initiatives, and drive lead generation across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Select, adapt, translate and implement marketing communication tools to support local sales objectives.
• Design and execute promotional activities such as events, fairs, online campaigns, and print media.
• Generate leads through advertising, sponsorships and other promotional tactics.
• Maintain consistent communication across trade media in line with ABB’s communications framework.
• Create, plan and implement marketing and communication strategies aligned with division and corporate guidelines and budgets.

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in communications and marketing.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work with relevant tools and methodologies across multiple markets.
