Clinical Facilitator – ICU Trained Registered Nurse

About the role

The Clinical Facilitator will support new and existing nursing staff in an ICU environment, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, compliance and continuous professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate induction and orientation for new staff and ensure all compliance records are completed.
• Identify training needs, coordinate training activities and maintain accurate training documentation.
• Assess clinical competencies, address skill gaps and ensure adherence to nursing standards and protocols.
• Promote continuous professional development, including CPD points and BLS/CPR compliance.
• Build strong client relationships and conduct on‑site quality and compliance checks.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, sanctions and client communication within required timelines.
• Oversee IOD, needle‑stick and exposure incident processes and ensure accurate legislative reporting.

Required profile

• Relevant Nursing degree or Diploma.
• ICU training.
• Experience in clinical facilitation (preferred 1 year).
• Ability to commute or relocate to Benoni, Gauteng, with a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
