About the role
The Catering Manager will oversee all catering services within KwaDukuza Private Hospital, ensuring the satisfaction of patients and staff. The role requires a strong background in business administration and food service systems, covering areas such as organization, finance, budgeting, and culinary operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the complete catering operation of the hospital, from menu planning to delivery, to meet patient and staff expectations.
- Oversee financial controls, cost accounting, budgeting, and production management to ensure efficient and cost‑effective service.
- Coordinate labour relations, personnel administration, marketing, and legal compliance within the catering department.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level 4) with a Food and Beverage National Diploma or degree.
- Computer literacy and the ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
