Business Development Manager – Sports & Entertainment Advertising

About the role

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to sell high‑impact advertising and sponsorship solutions across South Africa’s live sport and entertainment venues. Based in Cape Town, you will connect leading brands with iconic events and massive live audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business and grow existing client relationships.
• Sell advertising and sponsorship packages across sport and entertainment platforms.
• Develop compelling proposals for brands seeking live‑audience exposure.
• Collaborate with venues, rights holders, and media partners.
• Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Work after‑hours and entertain clients as required.

Required profile

• Proven track record in advertising or media sales (non‑negotiable).
• Experience in stadium, venue, or sports‑industry sales is a strong advantage.
• Confident hunter mentality with a consultative approach.
• Strong existing network in the Cape Town/South Africa market.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and target‑driven.
