Business Development Manager – Enterprise Technology

About the role

Our client is a leading enterprise digital solutions and technology business seeking a high‑performing Business Development Manager for its Durban team. The role combines hunting new enterprise accounts with farming existing client relationships, working closely with account managers to deliver technology solutions. Based in modern offices in Umhlanga Ridge, the position offers a hybrid sales environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new enterprise opportunities across KwaZulu‑Natal and beyond.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
• Collaborate with account management teams to grow existing client accounts and drive upselling and cross‑selling.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure, including presentations, workshops, pricing negotiations and proposal development.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling software development and digital solutions to enterprise clients.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
