Broker Consultant – Life Insurance (Durban, Cape Town, Pretoria)

About the role

We are seeking a driven, relationship‑focused Broker Consultant to join our growing insurance sales team. Based in Durban, Cape Town or Pretoria, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with Financial Advisers, grow sales, and provide product support and training.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed allocated sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Financial Advisers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and grow an active adviser network.
• Provide product training, technical support and guide advisers through the sales and application process.
• Conduct individual and group presentations and make proactive sales calls.
• Monitor competitor activity, industry trends and manage the new business pipeline.
• Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the life insurance industry and as a Broker Consultant.
• Relevant insurance or financial planning qualification (e.g., RE1, RE5, CFP, Diploma in Wealth Planning) is advantageous.
• Own car and a valid driver’s licence.

What we offer

• Basic salary between R15 000 and R22 000 per month.
• Commission structure with an underpin for the first nine months.
