Bookkeeper / Accountant – Food Sector (Sage Evolution & Xero)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper/Accountant to ensure financial data accuracy across our food supply and manufacturing operations. The role focuses on maintaining ledgers, managing cash flow, and delivering reliable monthly reports.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance reports.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations for multiple corporate accounts.
• Manage customer account reconciliations and resolve queries promptly.
• Compile and submit statutory returns, including tax and payroll documents.
• Operate Sage Evolution and Xero platforms for daily accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Accounting Degree or Diploma.
• Corporate bookkeeping experience within the food or manufacturing sector.
• Proven ability to produce monthly management reports for business unit managers.

Required skills

• Sage Evolution accounting software.
• Xero cloud accounting platform.
