Associate Consultant – Global Advisory Services

About the role

IQVIA is seeking motivated individuals to join its Global Advisory Services team as Associate or Associate Consultants. You will work on diverse life‑science projects, applying research and analytical techniques to help clients solve complex healthcare challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to uncover client issues and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and workshops for client stakeholders, under guidance from senior team members.
• Identify strategic alternatives for clients by leveraging business acumen and industry knowledge.
• Support proposal development, supervise junior team members, and contribute to client meetings and case studies.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or master’s degree in life sciences, economics, business or a related field, or a PhD with commercial experience in healthcare.
• 1‑4 years of experience in the life‑science industry or consulting, depending on the level applied for.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare market dynamics and an interest in consulting methodologies.
• Willingness to travel and right to work in South Africa.
