Assistant Accountant (Junior Panic Manager)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑disciplined Junior Financial Accountant to join our growing organisation. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records for clients, assist accountants with compliance, and support management with reporting, analysis and tax consulting services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes for multiple clients.
• Prepare and submit tax and statutory filings, including SARS submissions.
• Execute payroll functions and perform basic balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support qualified accountants and contribute to product and statutory registrations.

Required profile

• Completed accounting certificate or currently studying.
• 5+ years of experience in a financial accounting role.
• Experience working with diverse clients across various industries.

• Sage accounting software
• Xero accounting software
