Application Engineer - Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Application Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng. You will work on custom‑designed heavy industrial machinery, including centrifugal and axial fans, providing technical expertise and customer‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to improve customer experience and identify new business opportunities.
• Visit client sites to gather technical requirements and define project scopes.
• Prepare proposals and detailed specifications aligned with client needs.
• Lead projects through design, delivery and installation, ensuring timely completion.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; eagerness to learn and tackle challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
