Accountant – Durban South

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our PKF Durban South office. The role involves preparing and auditing financial statements for a variety of entities, including body corporates, share blocks and property owners’ associations. You will provide high‑quality accounting services to our local clients, ensuring compliance with South African accounting standards and delivering accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Draft financial statements for diverse entities.
• Compile, audit and draft reports for body corporates, share blocks, property owners’ and home owners’ associations.
• Utilise Caseware software to perform audit procedures and produce compliant documentation.
• Maintain client records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with senior staff to guarantee accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 4 years’ accounting or auditing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
