Website Designer (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

We are a UK‑based creative agency seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Website/Digital Designer to join our fully remote team. You will work on a variety of client projects, from theatre marketing sites to HTML email campaigns, delivering high‑quality digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build responsive websites, primarily for theatre marketing campaigns.
• Code, test and optimise HTML email templates.
• Adapt artwork for web use and create HTML5 animations.
• Proofread designs to ensure error‑free, polished outputs.
• Collaborate with senior team members, clients and peers to meet design objectives.
• Maintain project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Stay current with design trends and contribute fresh ideas.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of professional website/digital design experience, including 1‑2 years in an agency setting.
• Fluent written and spoken English with a razor‑sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent time‑management, organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive communication and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and a passion for creative problem‑solving.
