Tax Consultant – Onsite, Kempton Park

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join our specialist advisory and tax firm in Kempton Park on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will manage a portfolio of small‑ and medium‑sized business clients, providing comprehensive tax compliance services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit individual, company and trust tax returns.
• Calculate and lodge provisional tax, VAT, PAYE and other SARS obligations.
• Utilise SARS eFiling for submissions, verifications and audits.
• Draft objections, remissions and suspension of payment requests.
• Communicate directly with clients and SARS on tax matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or related field.
• Professional tax qualification or registration (SAIPA, SAIT or similar) advantageous.
• Experience managing a client portfolio and handling a range of tax compliance tasks.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Individual, company and trust tax return preparation.
• Provisional tax calculations and submissions.
• Working knowledge of SARS eFiling.
• VAT, PAYE, Dividends Tax, Donations Tax compliance.
• Drafting SARS remissions, objections and suspension requests.
• GreatSoft experience (advantageous).
