Supplier Development Consultant

About the role

The Supplier Development Consultant will act as the primary link between the company and its global supply base. You will lead supplier selection, qualification, and performance management while supporting new product development and ensuring compliance with HEINEKEN Beverages standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier onboarding, qualification, and certification processes.
• Conduct start‑up, periodic and performance‑based supplier audits.
• Analyse data to identify risks, drive cost‑saving initiatives and inform business decisions.
• Maintain tools such as TQA schedules, supplier capability matrices and performance dashboards.
• Resolve material and quality issues through cross‑functional collaboration.
• Facilitate supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Science, Industrial Engineering, Procurement or related field (advantageous).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supplier manufacturing, quality systems development and management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence and motivate stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Cpk analysis.
• Supplier qualification and audit methodologies.
• Data analysis and risk assessment.
• Use of supplier capability and risk matrices.
