Strategic Finance Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Strategic Finance Analyst to own and develop M‑KOPA’s Long‑Range Plan and build rigorous financial models that drive market‑entry decisions, unit economics, distribution costs and funding scenarios. You will work closely with the Head of Strategic Finance and present insights directly to the CEO and board.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and update the company’s Long‑Range Plan, including base, stretch and market‑specific scenarios with full documentation.
• Build audit‑ready financial models for special projects such as new market entry cases, distribution cost structures and funding analyses.
• Identify and resolve balance‑sheet or cash‑flow tie‑out issues before they reach senior leadership.
• Support the monthly and quarterly FP&A cycle – budget‑vs‑actual variance analysis, performance commentary and reporting packs.
• Assist in migrating planning processes to Anaplan as the finance team scales.
• Define model architecture for half‑specified problems before implementing calculations.

Required profile

• Proven experience building three‑statement financial models under tight deadlines.
• Ability to create models from scratch for market entry, unit economics, distribution costs and funding scenarios.
• Strong technical rigor and comfort presenting complex analyses to senior executives.
• Experience collaborating directly with senior finance leadership.
