Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect will design and deliver end‑to‑end architectures that support business objectives and enterprise strategy. You will lead modernisation initiatives, drive cloud‑native adoption, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable and resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop solution architectures aligned with business and enterprise strategies.
• Create architecture blueprints, integration patterns and design documents for multi‑system environments.
• Lead application modernisation, legacy transformation and containerisation projects.
• Promote microservices, API‑driven and event‑driven design across development teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Engage stakeholders, facilitate design workshops and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Ensure compliance with architecture governance, standards and documentation requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or a diploma with at least 10 years software development experience.
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience and 5 + years in solutions architecture.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale applications and leading modernisation initiatives.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS or Azure are preferred.
