Site Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

The Site Manager (Electrical and Instrumentation) will lead E&I construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities across industrial, mining and oil & gas projects. This is a site‑based position with regular travel throughout South Africa and the wider Sub‑Saharan region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all electrical and instrumentation works on assigned sites.
• Manage installation, testing and commissioning phases to ensure timely delivery.
• Plan and execute site rotation schedules, typically 6‑day work weeks with R&R cycles (~190 hrs/month).
• Ensure compliance with project safety systems and industrial construction standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary site teams in remote environments.

Required profile

• Trade‑tested Electrician or Instrumentation Technician.
• Recognised Electrical or Instrumentation qualification (Diploma/Degree advantageous).
• SACPCMP registration advantageous.
• 5–8 years of experience in E&I industrial construction, preferably on mining, oil & gas or heavy‑industrial projects.
• Proven ability to manage remote, multidisciplinary site teams.
