Site Manager (Civil / Electrical)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a background in high‑voltage transmission line construction to join our team in Limpopo, South Africa. This contract position offers the opportunity to lead civil and electrical works on power generation and transmission projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall management, monitoring and assurance for line and substation activities.
• Track contractor progress against the approved schedule and ensure compliance.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, local community forums and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate site visits using a 4‑wheel or 2×4 vehicle and maintain required safety equipment.

Required profile

• National Technical Diploma or BTech in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience in electrical/civil projects, preferably on transmission lines or substations.
• Proven experience in high‑voltage transmission line construction and power generation environments.
