Site Laboratory Quality Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Laboratory Quality Manager to ensure that all site laboratories operate in full compliance with SANAS 17025 standards. The role involves overseeing multiple laboratories, driving continuous improvement, and supporting staff to maintain the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain laboratories according to SANAS 17025 requirements.
• Oversee equipment calibration, environmental controls, and quality systems.
• Conduct internal audits and compliance inspections across sites.
• Identify non‑conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Train laboratory personnel on compliance best practices.
• Maintain accurate audit, corrective‑action, and quality documentation.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies.
• Continuously monitor and improve laboratory processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in laboratory quality or compliance management.
• In‑depth knowledge of SANAS 17025 standards.
• Strong auditing, documentation and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
