Senior Systems, Security and Admin Support Specialist

About the role

Gravi8 is seeking a senior professional to lead IT operations, security and administration across its Somerset West office. You will be the go‑to expert for incident resolution, infrastructure management and compliance, ensuring the environment remains reliable, secure and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests, providing after‑hours support when required.
• Manage and optimise Linux and Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policies and endpoint security.
• Administer Microsoft Intune and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem for device compliance.
• Configure VLANs, routing, VPNs and maintain pfSense firewalls and UniFi networking equipment.
• Implement IDS/IPS, strengthen overall security posture and apply patches.
• Maintain high‑availability systems, conduct disaster‑recovery testing and keep documentation audit‑ready.
• Support ISO AS900 and CE+ compliance, prepare for audits and produce performance reports.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, vendor management and asset lifecycle oversight.
