Senior Road Accident Fund Consultant Attorney

About the role

We are seeking a senior attorney with deep expertise in Road Accident Fund (RAF) matters to join our Pretoria office. The role involves managing complex RAF claims from inception through trial or settlement, providing strategic legal advice, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and progress Road Accident Fund claims independently.
• Draft pleadings, legal documents, and correspondence.
• Engage with clients, expert witnesses, counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare cases for trial and negotiate settlements.
• Provide strategic advice and recommendations on RAF matters.

Required profile

• Admitted attorney with substantial experience in RAF litigation.
• Proven ability to handle RAF files from start to finalisation.
• Strong litigation, negotiation and case management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Sound judgment, decision‑making and excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
