SAP EWM Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an SAP EWM Consultant to configure and optimise SAP Extended Warehouse Management modules for our clients across EMEA. The role involves translating business requirements into functional specifications, delivering end‑to‑end configuration, and supporting post‑go‑live operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assess business requirements and provide effort estimates for enhancements and projects.
• Configure SAP EWM modules, including master data setup, warehouse structure definition, and process customisation.
• Conduct unit, integration, system and user acceptance testing to ensure functionality and performance.
• Monitor, optimise and fine‑tune SAP EWM queues (SMQ1, SMQ2, SMQ3) and overall system performance.
• Create functional specifications, configuration guides and user manuals.
• Facilitate UAT, provide hyper‑care support and conduct knowledge transfer to business users.
• Collaborate with vendors and integrate SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, PM and external systems.
• Support data migration, master data dependencies, cut‑over activities and post‑go‑live support.

Required profile

• Expert‑level functional knowledge of SAP EWM.
• Proven experience in configuration, testing and rollout of SAP EWM projects.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
