Sales Associate – SMB

About the role

Join Pnet, a leading South African online job board and part of the global StepStone Group, as a Sales Associate focused on the SMB segment. You will partner with businesses to transform their hiring process and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage high‑quality leads using various sourcing techniques.
• Prospect, cold‑call and close deals, positioning Pnet solutions as the preferred choice.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through strategic conversations, product usage tracking and upselling.
• Renew contracts and ensure client satisfaction.
• Handle administrative tasks, documentation and reporting accurately using the CRM system.
• Continuously develop skills to improve productivity and results.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales track record.
• Strong cold‑calling and telephone skills.
• Ability to articulate solutions clearly in both verbal and written form.
• Excellent listening skills to understand customer needs.
