Sales Assistant – Retail (Health & Wellness)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Sales Assistant to join our health‑and‑wellness retail store in Dainfern. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a welcoming experience while supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, smile and acknowledge every customer, guiding them to the right products.
• Maintain knowledge of store layout to assist shoppers efficiently.
• Follow opening and closing procedures, keep merchandising standards, and ensure all items are correctly ticketed.
• Handle cash transactions at the point of sale and perform cash‑up duties.
• Receive and check deliveries, verify stock counts and product expiry dates.
• Adhere to risk‑minimisation processes and store compliance guidelines.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Genuine interest in health and wellness products.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
