About the role
The Sales Administrator and Personal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team while managing the manager’s diary and personal tasks. This hybrid role blends sales‑focused coordination with high‑level personal assistance in a fast‑moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Compile and analyse sales reports using advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Plan regional visits, travel itineraries and coordinate participation in trade shows, expos and sales conferences.
- Manage the Sales Manager’s diary, schedule appointments and prioritise meetings.
- Assist sales representatives with customer queries and follow‑up on account payments.
- Review account applications and communicate decisions to the Finance department.
- Administer customer service surveys and ensure seamless communication across departments.
- Greet walk‑in customers and direct them to the appropriate sales personnel.
Required profile
- Matric qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in office administration within a sales environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
