Rx Medical Trainer

About the role

Austell Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Rx Medical Trainer to join its Medical Affairs team. The role focuses on translating complex clinical data into practical training that supports ethical engagement with healthcare professionals and empowers high‑performing pharmaceutical sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging training programmes covering therapeutic areas, pharmacology, product knowledge and competitor insights.
• Facilitate onboarding programmes for new hires within the Rx environment.
• Conduct refresher and advanced training aligned with business and product strategies.
• Simplify complex clinical information into commercially relevant learning material.
• Train teams on pharmacovigilance, adverse event reporting and ethical promotion standards.
• Develop assessments, certification processes and competency evaluations.
• Partner closely with Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, Business Intelligence and Sales teams to ensure alignment.
• Continuously improve training methodologies using innovative and digital learning approaches.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a multinational pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience in Rx therapeutic areas and training delivery is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of clinical pharmacology, therapeutic guidelines and pharmaceutical compliance standards.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, coaching and communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret and communicate scientific and clinical data effectively.
