About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic cashiers to join our retail store in Pretoria, Gauteng. The role involves handling transactions, assisting customers and maintaining a tidy work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate scanners, scales, cash registers and other electronic equipment.
- Accept payments, ensure accurate pricing and quantities, and provide receipts.
- Maintain transaction reports and keep the workspace clean and tidy.
- Welcome customers, answer questions, help locate items and give recommendations.
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- 2‑3 years experience in a retail cashier or sales environment.
- Strong communication and time‑management skills.
- Customer‑satisfaction orientation with attention to detail and mathematical ability.
Required skills
- Basic PC knowledge.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers, scanners and money counters.
