Regional Procurement Manager – Gauteng

About the role

The Group is seeking a highly driven Regional Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations across Gauteng. Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for delivering cost savings, improving supplier performance and ensuring operational efficiency in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement processes, negotiate contracts and achieve savings targets.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, source new vendors and monitor SLA performance.
• Manage store operations, including receiving, issuing, stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Control purchase order processing, MRP activities and timely replenishment of stock.
• Conduct cycle counts, weekly/bi‑weekly stock takes and report results to management.
• Lead, train and develop procurement and stores teams while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to meet national cost‑optimization goals.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or related field.
• 10+ years of procurement and stores management experience.
• 5+ years in a managerial role with proven negotiation and cost‑management success.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems.
• Experience using Fraxion.
• Experience using Accpac.
