Receptionist / Passenger Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a professional Receptionist / Passenger Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our helicopter operations at V & A Waterfront. The role blends front‑desk administration with hands‑on passenger handling, ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for all travellers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors, clients and passengers, answer phone calls and manage email enquiries.
• Maintain an organised front office, perform data entry, filing and keep passenger manifests up to date.
• Coordinate with pilots, operations staff and ground crew to communicate flight schedules, changes and delays.
• Assist passengers with on‑ and off‑loading, conduct pre‑flight safety briefings and escort them to and from the helipad.
• Monitor waiting areas, ensure passenger comfort and keep them informed.
• Support daily flight schedule management and record passenger movements accurately.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, reception or an aviation‑related environment is advantageous.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced operational setting.
• High attention to detail with a safety‑first mindset.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as flight schedules demand.
• Comfortable working outdoors and around aircraft.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and booking system usage.
