Project Manager – Store Development

About the role

The Foschini Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead the on‑site delivery of new and refurbished store builds across its seven trading divisions. You will coordinate all aspects of store construction, from visual displays to contractor management, ensuring projects meet TFG’s standards and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the total on‑site scope of works for new and revamp store builds across all TFG trading divisions.
• Coordinate full delivery of store builds, including visual display requirements and all related suppliers or contractors.
• Forecast, manage and reconcile budgets allocated to each store project.
• Source, negotiate and manage on‑site suppliers and contractors.
• Handle TFG requirements with landlords/developers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Interpret CAD drawings to conceptualise store designs.

Required profile

• A relevant tertiary 3‑year qualification in Project Management or Architecture.
• 3‑5 years of project management or retail operations experience.
• Proficiency in an industry‑recognised project management methodology.
• Hands‑on experience managing small to medium projects, including remote management across diverse locations.
• Experience using SAP, MS Projects and MS Excel.
