Product & Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Product & Solutions Architect to join our client’s technology team in Johannesburg. You will translate business problems into digital solutions, designing architecture and building or configuring those solutions using AI‑assisted development, low‑code tools, custom code, and selective third‑party products.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into clear solution designs.
• Design and prototype end‑to‑end architectures, including data models, workflows, and integration patterns.
• Develop, test, integrate, and deploy solutions using full‑stack technologies.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and DevOps practices on Azure (or equivalent cloud).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / SQA Accredited Equivalent and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience designing and architecting complex systems, preferably in the financial services or fintech sector.
• Hands‑on experience building internal platforms, process automation, or transactional systems in a lean environment.
