Oral Care Consultant – Gauteng

About the role

The Oral Care Consultant will act as the primary influencer for dental professionals, encouraging them to adopt Colgate oral care products in their practices. You will build strong, long‑term relationships with dentists, hygienists and related healthcare staff, ensuring Colgate is the preferred brand both personally and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with dental practitioners, specialists, hygienists and relevant health administrators.
• Gain in‑depth knowledge of each dental office and create tailored contact strategies aligned with the Professional Plan.
• Use the CRM C4C tool to classify, segment and optimise outreach across the assigned territory.
• Influence dental teams to personally use, display and recommend Colgate products to patients.
• Generate leads, increase account penetration and execute detailing plans to boost product usage.
• Implement marketing and promotional activities where appropriate and keep CRM data up to date.
• Monitor competitor offerings and ethically persuade accounts to switch to Colgate solutions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build rapport and trust with healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset.
• Understanding of data privacy compliance in CRM activities.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM C4C (or similar CRM platforms).
