Messenger – Cape Town

About the role

An opportunity exists for a Messenger to join the team at the Cape Town Mediclinic branch. The role requires high ethics, integrity and alignment with PathCare values while providing reliable specimen and document delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver specimens, reports and other items while exercising good customer care.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Relevant customer service experience.
• Experience in a pathology or hospital environment (advantageous).
• Client‑focused with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and flexible work style.
• Fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaans.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
